HUGO'S NEW DIGS

Comments

Hugo seems reasonably friendly, as strays go. Is he feeling healthier?

He is a sweet cat, certainly not feral. But my guess is that he was raised by someone who kept him as an "outdoor only" cat and as a kitten he probably had such limited contact with humans that he is fearful of them.

Luckily Hugo is being kept indoors only and has managed to fight off his infections - that's a great start! But what's bad is that he has full-blown feline AIDS and he is pretty weak. - he has good days and bad days. We're determined, though, to make him feel better. :)

We had a cat with feline AIDS. We tried very hard to make him an indoor cat, but he was having none of it. He was too stubborn, *and* he was smart enough to open doors and get windows open. Still, he did last another seven years before he finally passed. Much of that time spent waking me up by deciding that my face made a comfortable bed.
Naught browser. Let me finish that post ...

He was too stubborn and too smart. He had no problem working doors, and once we locked the doors he started figuring out the windows. Still, he lasted another seven years, and most of them were good. A lot of that time *was* spent waking me up by deciding that my face made a comfortable bed.
